The BFG

From the bestselling author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda!
One of TIME MAGAZINE’s 100 Best Fantasy Books of All Time
The BFG is no ordinary bone-crunching giant. He is far too nice and jumbly. It's lucky for Sophie that he is. Had she been carried off in the middle of the night by the Bloodbottler, or any of the other giants—rather than the BFG—she would have soon become breakfast. When Sophie hears that the giants are flush-bunking off to England to swollomp a few nice little chiddlers, she decides she must stop them once and for all. And the BFG is going to help her!
“This warmhearted tall tale, published a year before Dahl picked up the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement, artfully whisks readers away on a magical journey through London, Giant Country and beyond, to a realm of wild imagination.” --TIME Magazine

The book was interesting, I thought it would bore me but it didn't, it kept me for wanting to know more! Is very bizarre but interesting book, I recommend it if you want something out of this world!
Here's your PSA to encourage you to read more children's books. I watched this movie on repeat as a kid and loved following along with the ridiculous words throughout the story! This is fantastic to either read out loud to kids. Or let them listen to the audiobook, there's fun sound effects sprinkled in the background!
Cute little romp from Roald Dahl, without quite so much of the nightmarish qualities I remember from some of his other books that I read during my childhood (The Witches, anyone?). Would probably be a little more fun if read aloud, but still entertaining!
It’s cute.
The audio book is read by David Walliams, and I love him. He’s one of my favourite humans.
