Too many dangling plot lines. The beginning drew me in quickly, but too many unanswered questions .

Choppy writing, rough and unlovable characters, and a tepid ending. I struggled with this one.

The positives: good sentence structure, liked the voice overall. Decent pace. The negatives: characters not well developed. Irrelevant storylines that have no conclusions. The complete switch for the husband? Didn’t make any sense. The author gave me no reason to care about the protagonist. The ending? What???? I almost stopped reading 3 times. Only finished because we were to discuss at book club.
