I'm hooked. ya got me.
It was a little slow at first but for a short read.....again, well worth it.
Boy does this storyline grow and grow and the suspense just builds and builds. As I mentioned in previous review...these arent really my thing unless there is vamiper's, demons, some type of paranormal. The first book was free and got hooked.
A new monster has come into the picture and one of Detective Logan's co-workers/detective has a backstory that comes to the for front. Lana discover's the evil monster and decides to deviate from her "list" of people from her past she has and plan's to kill.
Lana puts herself at risk to free a tramatized child and all hell breaks loose. This has some conclusion to one serial murder case the Detective is working on but opens up another/on going case that his now girlfriend Lana is the unsub. I was a little disappointed when Lana finally tells her story, its vage....we as the read still really dont have a clue what was done to her and her brother but more clarity comes in as to why Jake is there/her accompliss.
Well written, gripping storyline, little romance and a lot of suspense. Very impressed and on to # 3 of this 5 book set. Excited to see where this goes.

This book wasn't as important to the plot, but contributed to the past of both Hadley and Lana; in terms of miscommunications with rapists and the introductory to Lindy, who will be needed in the future, for they realised that she knows more than she lets on. Laurel as well, for she was a victim to Kennedy, the step-father of Hadley whom she murdered.
The ending, I was not expecting the ending! The Boogeyman got a hold of Lana

The thrill don't stop
Is it bad to say i love this serial killer? No? Okay, good, because I do. Even though what she is doing is legally wrong she is doing the right thing in her mind. The suspense, the thrill, the hot steamy scenes, I can't get enough! Diving into book 3 right away.
