!!!! only started this cause I saw it all over TikTok and people were saying it’s like criminal minds ??? yes please!!!!! dexter ?! yesssss (even though I’m not a big fan of dexter as I am criminal minds, I really liked the concept of dexter!!) this book was just !!!!!!! oh gosh!!! I’m so excited for this series!!
Lana?? she is such a freaking badass!!! I’m sad to see that she had a v rough childhood and I know that we are going to know more about her past as the story goes on, so not really looking forward to that because she deserves to be so happy!! But anyways, she has a list and she is checking everyone off one at a time who has done her wrong and !!!!! oh gosh it’s awesome!!! I love her omg
Logan ?!!!!!! He is so sweet and smart and kind and just ughh he’s so perfect

The more you read the less you want to put the book down, it is short only 130 something pages but it was so engrossing, honestly this series is a must read 🤩

Not going to post a long review because this is a five book series and the entire world has read it except me but some noteworthy thoughts:
1. I love watching Criminal Minds so this book was very exciting for me, usually it would be me trying to get into the head of the killer but this time I don't have much thinking to do.
2. Not a usual plot but delivery could have been better. What is it with authors and always making me wait? The smut scenes also felt a little rushed to me but then again this is a thriller so I will not expect rose petals and champagne.
3. Lana probably has a strong reason to do what she does but I'm on the fence, for now. Not supporting, not condoning. I'd have to read more to find out.
4. Logan can do a profile on me anytime, preferably on a bed.
I could have finished it in one sitting if not for my assignments but I'm multi-tasking and doing a great job being productive.
(I was not aware that the author had passed on until I read the news, may her soul rest in peace. I'm sure she would have done the due justice that Lana deserves)

When I say I DEVOURED this book. I mean i D E V O U R E D it. It was a short read under 200 pages, but it did not fall short of anything with the story line. The cover 100% makes you think it’s going to be a really smut/kinky book but it was not! Yes there were sex scenes (maybe 2) but other than that it stuck to the main story line.
