Saint (Priest, 3)

He chose a life of silence and solitude. But nothing quiets the memory of Elijah Iverson.

From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Sierra Simone comes a devastatingly sensual MM romance of second chances, spiritual redemption, and the battle between sacred vows and unstoppable desire.

Aiden Bell was never supposed to fall in love again--especially not with the man he left behind to become a monk. But when Elijah reappears on a monastery tour across Europe, old wounds reopen, and forbidden feelings burn hotter than ever.

Praised by BookTok readers and romance reviewers alike, Saint delivers everything fans crave: aching pining, deeply emotional prose, and the raw beauty of rediscovering love after loss. Set in breathtaking European monasteries and threaded with themes of mental health and queer faith, this is a romance that doesn't just seduce--it transforms.

I have not read any of the other books in the Priest series so I don’t know if this was the norm and I feel dumb for saying this but I felt like there was a lot of religious talk for a romance book. As someone who grew up without religion and did not have any people around me who even mentioned God, all the talk about monk life took away from the story for me.

I really did like Elijah and Aiden though. I liked the way the author wrote about Aiden’s struggle. I wish we got more of Elijah’s POV. There was a little through journal entries and articles he wrote but I wanted more.

The longing between the two MCs was chef’s kiss. I am going to read Sinner because I heard that one’s the best and I enjoyed this was a lot.
