A classic I’m truly glad I finally read. I loved the characters, their relationships, and the gentle manners and day-to-day rhythms of their lives. I didn’t realize it was part of a series, so I had a few assumptions about what must have happened in the first volume that didn’t actually unfold—but it didn’t take away from how warm and enjoyable this story is. A timeless, comforting read.
what a wonderful book I think every little girl should be able to read this book or have it read to them it's beautiful wonderful family story heartfelt I just love it and then after you read the book see all of the movies
