Katee Robert brings the heat again!
The second instalment in the Wicked Villains series is every bit as hot—actually probably hotter—than the first one. I enjoyed this rekindling of a long term relationship between Hades and Meg as the uncover the missing link in their relationship that helps them solidify their union. Can’t wait for the next one!

Hercules goes down to the underworld and tries to save Meg and ends up making a deal with Hades. He soon realizes that Meg is the Queen of the underworld and that he was tricked into joining them. He later grows feeling for Hades as much as he does Meg and starts a polyamorous relationship with them both.
I enjoyed the book so much. When I purchased it, I was just looking for a Disney villain’s story, but that’s not what I got. This gave me more than I bargained for. You have drama, sexual tension, pleasure, revenge, and love. From enemies to lovers.
This book focuses on Hercules, running from Olympus after his attempts at heroics failed spectacularly and Meg and Hades, a couple drifting apart after 10 years of secrets and plots. What starts as a plot of vengeance leads to a loving relationship stronger than ever before.
I loved every moment of this book. It had some seriously steamy scenes, but it also had some true emotion that had me wiping my eyes. I related so much with Meg, a woman who had been betrayed before who felt her relationship dying but had no idea how to fix it. The book being told in each person's perspective let us experience the steamy scenes in different levels and also showed the heart of everyone involved.
As a poly person, I loved seeing the relationship between the triad form and that the book showed that in a triad there are many different relationships involved: Hades-Meg, Hades-Hercules, Meg-Hercules, Meg-Hades-Hercules. I also love that they didn't stray away from M/M scenes at all in this book!
Being able to see Jafar & Jasmine was also a nice touch and I'm glad to see they are going strong! I can't wait for the next book in this series.
