It's not as good as the first one, but it's still good. The writing itself gets a 3/5, but because of how quickly I'm consuming the books because they're easy to read and engaging, I'm giving it an overall 4/5. Great spice, enemies to lovers, Greek mythology modern retelling (sort of).

I am the queen of loving retellings or reimagined stories but I am going to be honest here this here should have stuck closer to the original. The main male character seemed more like a side character, I wanted more on him and not just the brooding part. It was seeming more like a Beauty and the Beast type of deal but a false imitation of it because even in Beauty and the Beast we get to know more about the beast.
The Spice was pretty good and towards almost the very end I loved the scene that played out between two of the characters. Overall unfortunately, I give this a 2 1/2 stars but since goodreads doesn't allow for the half it will be just a 2 star rating for me. Sorry but it was just a miss for me I rather enjoyed the first book way better.

This book couple has been added to my all time fav, hall of fame book couples. I love Eros and Psyche so so much. The romance is romancing and I love how Psyche is like this super savvy and gorgeous woman, but plus size? Like it broke through all barriers. As for Eros? Let’s just say he a member morally grey book daddies club, plus the Consent Kings club and I love his blond curls just as much as Psyche if not more.
