Still processing this book days later. I have a lot of feelings. Firstly, the plot was hugely contradictory. A man who saves women from sex trafficking who also is actively stalking & raping a woman? Make it make sense. Also, the disclaimer in the beginning says that the book has nothing to do with QAnon, however the entire story is based off of one of their conspiracies. The author also introduced a ghost subplot but then… never did anything with it. The best part of this book was the side story of the murder mystery the main character was trying to solve with her friend. Overall though, I was hooked on the story and I’ll definitely read book 2. But I wasn’t very impressed.
