Not going to lie… I fought this book. I don’t love reading hyped books and I kept asking myself “Do I really want to read a book about dragons and their riders?” 🫤
Yes. A hundred times, yes. Though I was stubborn at the start, the storyline sucked me in and I was quickly addicted. I enjoyed the characters, action, suspense and twists. There is some spice, but not super spicy: 🌶️🌶️🌶️. 100% recommend

Do yourself a favor and listen to this with graphic audio. I absolutely loved the experience of this book. At times, I got annoyed with the miscommunication trope and some of the writing read like a YA. However, with all that being said, this was what I needed to get me back into fantasy again since ACOTAR.
