Jake Van der Berg, her father's stepbrother and her only living relative, assumes guardianship of Tiernan. Sent to live in the mountains of Colorado with Jake and his two sons, Noah and Kaleb, Tiernan quickly learns that these men now have a say in what she chooses to care and not care about anymore.
As the men take Tiernan under their wing, she slowly finds her place among them.
Because lines blur and rules become easy to break when no one else is watching.
One of them has her. The other one wants her. But he's going to keep her.

I honestly don’t know how I feel about this one. I found myself mildly uncomfortable and annoyed half the time and the other half made me giddy. I’ve seen this one all over and it was not what I thought it was. The first half was a little slow for me. It’s a spicy book with some questionable themes but if you don’t mind that, this is one you should check out. I think my least favorite thing was the characters themselves. I am a reader that gets very attached to characters and the more I like them and/or relate to them feeds into how much I enjoy a book overall. I found Tiernan annoying, Jake was rude, Noah had a sassy side that bothered me and Kaleb was just creepy. The ending also seemed a bit abrupt compared to the progression of the rest of the story.
Tiernan de Haas loses her parents in a "tragic and heartbreaking way"(YEAH those are "quotes" LOL). She is then left in the care of her step-uncle, who lives in the remote Colorado mountains. As the story unfolds, Tiernan begins to develop feelings for her Uncle Jake, as well as her cousins Noah and Kaleb. But are these true romantic feelings, or is she simply longing for the attention her younger self never received? The book takes readers on an emotional rollercoaster, leaving them uncertain about who Tiernan will ultimately choose, if anyone at all.
