Fantastic! Another brilliant and thrilling adventure into the Shadowhunter world. Can't wait for another installment!
I have had a terrible time trying to write a review for this book. I am not sure if it is because I have had a migraine for the past three days or because I am unable to say what I loved without giving spoilers. Flip a coin and you have the answer.
I honestly cared about the characters and what was going to happen to them. The villian was set up in the first book so there wasn't any real interaction with him in this one. The characters would talk about him every once in a while, but he never actually took the stage.
My favorite thing about the sotry was Will. We learned his back story. We learned why he was the way he was and it wasn't because he was just being a teenage turd. He had his reasons. He actually set out to change his circumstances and tried to move forward with his life. I liked him in the first book. In this one I believe he became a fantastic character with real depth.
I am excited to read the third one to find out how everything will be resolved or at least get answers to the questions Ms. Clare has posed so far in the series.

i started this on audio and got half way through and realized i need to read physical because i felt confused and didnt think i was getting as much out of it and i was so right
