great ending! Sad... but great! This was by far one of the best series' I've ever read. I loved Jace and Clary's story so much!
Endings are so bittersweet. Especially when it's a much-loved, much-anticipated book series. Cassandra Clare has been a busy girl, creating a fascinating world that has spawned not one, but two series, with a third coming next year. The City of Heavenly Fire was a satisfying conclusion, with all the characters we know and love - and some we're just meeting - from all three series. So satisfying, I was a bit jealous that The Infernal Devices didn't end in a similar manner.
I was trying to finish this series after reading the other five books. I just couldn’t do it, I was dreading reading it anymore and stopped at 22%
Loved this series a lot when I was younger but now it’s just not it.

Read half the book and didn't care to find out how it ended.
For Clary, Jace, Isabel, Alex, everybody concerned, it all tied up into a nice neat little package with the bow on it.
Not everybody had a perfect ending. I want to read more about Emma, and the Faes and the fairies, and what happens to the ire the Niphlems will face from the wrath of the fairies. They should have listened to Magnus Bane and show leniency.
I somehow smell another series coming. And at the end of the book, I was right.
Next book.
