I remember really enjoying this as a child. I think the writing holds up for the test of time, but I had a hard time getting through it.

Love this book. Anne is so over dramatic with everything. It's too funny. Her "adoptive" parents had to make big adjustments. Anne has a way of rubbing off on you.

This is one of my first books as a kid and the friendship between Anne and Dianne is just amazing. It's so cute how the old bully became somehow who ended up liking her, but she decided to pursue her dreams.

Having listened/read to this book now, I am more convinced than ever that Megan Follows is Anne Shirley.
