Very enjoyable. I had no idea what to expect so I was delighted to find myself laughing out loud regularly at Anne's antics. I wish I'd had time to read the book with my eyes instead of the Audible version, though. While I like Rachel McAdams as an actress, I didn't enjoy her narration of the audiobook. Let me clarify a bit... I thought the dialogue reading was very good but the narrative portions felt monotone and I found myself missing large chunks because I just tuned out.
Still a happy experience that took me away from the horrible things going on in the world today.

Heartwarming and perfect.
This book has such a special place in my heart
My bestie got this for me and her to do a buddy read together because its a story close to her heart and I'd never read it and I have to say its really cute!!
I thought Anne was a bit much at first but she grows on you pretty quickly. Her flowery language and her imagination and the way she views the world. We could all learn from Anne!
I love Matthew and Marilla (though I did think we would lose the other first... that was surprising!) Marilla's slow acceptance of Anne for exactly who she is while imparting good morales and raising her right while Matthew just spoils and dotes on her are perfection!
I LOVE our bosom friend Diana (its me in the story and my bestie is Anne and its SO fitting!!!!)
And the way the tables turn at the end... I just love it all. Fantastic story (yes it is not written in this time, so there are things that are wildly outdated... still a great read!)
