There are no expectations, just reading and fun! We meet once a month, currently on Fridays. Recently, we transitioned into having two book options for discussion! Currently, we have an only fantasy novel vote, and then a general fiction option for our second book. The second book has been a wild card the past few months, ranging from mystery, contemporary, a few sci-fi's, etc..!!
Some of our members read both books, but you definitely don't have to! We will split up into three groups, one for each book, and for those who read both. Our discussions are simple, random, and very natural to the vibe of the book. Once all of our thoughts are out, and we start to get off topic, we will come back together for final thoughts, and vote/take suggestions for our next books.
We have a great time, and have had good luck with reading *mostly* great books! It is fun to all hate on a dud every now and then though. I hope you decide to join us for our next meeting, you won't regret it!
