Beta Reading Club: Writers Swap Books

A friendly place for fiction writers to exchange their manuscripts to beta read each other's drafts. This community is for mutual benefit. We expect everyone who joins to be honest and respectful with each other, and with each other's work.

Please remember this is a support exchange group for beta read swaps. You can also request for alpha read swaps and for critique partners. You have to be willing to equally give, and not just receive from others.

Absolutely no monetary exchange is involved.

NOTICE:

(1) If you only want people to beta read your book for free but don't care, nor want to read another person's work, then this is not the group for you.

(2) If you use generative AI to "write" your stories, this is not the group for you.

(3) If you intend to run another author's work through AI in order for it to do the "beta reading" on your behalf, this is not the group for you.

(4) If you just don't like beta reading, or you think beta reading is too difficult for you, then this group is not for you.

Anyone being disrespectful, and ghosting fellow writers when beta reads are due, will be removed.

As much as we want this to be a safe space for everyone, there might ever so often come along someone with the wrong intentions. Admins depend on you to report anyone's misconduct that goes against our policies.

There is always risks involved when putting your manuscript in public domain. You could help protect your work by having a NDA.

Genres: No-spice books in Fantasy, Epic Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Cozy Fantasy, Fantasy with romance sub plots, etc...

Exceptions: The Bookclub is open to other genres (with some restrictions). All books must be no-spice.

Books not allowed - Books containing Smut/Spice, Excessive Violence and death, Extreme witchcraft & dark demonic themes. (Note: Books with characters that are witches and demons are allowed).

Exceptions: If you have a "low spice" book, please contact Admin for permission, before posting.
