Welcome to The Un-Serious Book Club (With Serious Friendships)!

We are a group of women in the South Bay who love the idea of a book club but aren’t interested in the homework or the pressure. We have been meeting for 3 years now but want to expand our group. If you’re looking for a low-stress way to meet new friends, grab a drink, and talk about a great book, you’ve found your home.

Our Vibe:

• No Pressure, Ever: Did life get in the way and you didn't finish the book? Please come anyway! We are here for the connection, the food, and the conversation.
• Accessible Reading: We pick books that are easy to grab via Libby, Audible, or your local library. No one is expected to buy hardcovers.
• The Commitment: We meet the third Thursday of every month. We are looking for members who value consistency and want to build real, long-term friendships.
• Beyond the Book: We aren't just about reading. We love social outings, holiday parties, and the occasional group adventures.

How We Work:

• Meetings: A mix of local parks, cozy spots, or member homes.
• Book Selection: We vote as a group using our club poll to ensure we’re reading what everyone is excited about.
• Food & Drink: We always have snacks and drinks to share.
• The "Meet & Greet": Because we value the quality of our friendships, we ask that new members join us for an initial coffee or drink to see if we're a good fit!
