About The Sandwich Generation

This book club is for the sandwich generation—and those who live adjacent to it. Whether you’re juggling kids, parents, work, relationships, chosen family, or just the weight of a very full life, you’re welcome here. It’s for anyone who feels like life is busy and meaningful… but is craving deeper, more honest adult conversation than schedules and logistics.

You don’t need to have kids—or aging parents—to belong. Curiosity, kindness, and a love of good conversation are enough.

We read books that feel worth your time and spark the kind of discussions that make you think, laugh, nod vigorously, and say, “Wait—yes. Exactly.” The tone is relaxed, thoughtful, and often humorous, shaped by lived experience and the understanding that sometimes you didn’t finish the book because life showed up loud.
More than a book club, this is about finding your people. Making new friends as an adult is hard—this is a low-pressure, genuinely human way to do it.
