Wecome to the Page Turners book club!
The mutual purpose of this book club is to foster personal growth, social connection, and develop a deeper love for literature together ❤️
Anyone is welcome, however seeking women 30-50s range :)
We will meet virtually every 4-6 weeks (based on book length) during a weekday evening (most likely 6:30/7:00)
For monthly book selection, we will rotate having members select 3 books from our "book bank". Everyone can add any genre (avoiding politics please) to the book bank.
The group then votes on the book of the month from those three books :) check out the "messages" tab to keep up to date with our book pick
Guidelines:
1. You do not need to finish the book to join the meetings
2. You do not need to talk in the meetings. Feel free to come and just listen.
3. There is no commitment requirements. Feel free to jump in and out based on the book of the month
4.This group will operate with mutual respect for each person. It is a safe space for differing opinions.
5. All types of books are welcome however books with political or religious agendas maybe offered as a fourth option for selection that month
Meetings are virtual however I live in Glen Ellyn and would love to do some in person get togethers on the side :)
Collaborately, let's foster a fun group to facilitate reading habits, broaden horizons, listen to new perspectives, and build relationships. 🥰
