Honey & Prose Book Club

Welcome to the Honey & Prose Book Club—a cozy, thoughtful reading community centered on books by Black authors.

We read across genres, from literary fiction and romance to horror, historical fiction, and the books that are a little hard to put down… or a little hard to put down without calling somebody first.

We meet monthly to talk honestly about what we read: the characters we loved, the choices that irritated us, the themes that stayed with us, and all the messy little details in between. Different opinions are welcome here. Respect is required.

There’s no pressure to finish every book or attend every meeting. Just come ready to read, connect, and enjoy the conversation.
