About The Common Room — A Women’s Book Club
The Common Room is a monthly, women-only book club for women in their 30s–40s who are craving deeper conversation and more intentional female friendship.
The club is BRAND NEW and co-hosted by sisters Darby and Kristin, who love books, sisterhood, and the cozy rituals of gathering: good conversation, shared food, and making space to connect as whole people. We’re intentionally cultivating a communal, family-style atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and at ease.
We read a mix of fiction and feminist nonfiction, using the book as a starting point rather than a test. You don’t need to finish every page to belong here! Curiosity and presence matter more than completion.
We meet on the last Tuesday of every month in a cozy, home-based setting with time for both guided discussion and relaxed socializing. Group size is intentionally small (capped at 12) to keep the space warm, intimate, and human
