Skip to the End Book Club

This club started as a space where end-of-life workers and volunteers could learn alongside one another and share space for conversations about how we can expand our perspectives to best care for ourselves and others.

Each book we read together is selected to contribute to the professional and personal development of people who find themselves in caregiving roles, but can be meaningful to anyone who wants to engage in open and compassionate discussion with people who may share and challenge your perspectives on life and death. We have the common goal of being curious about the richness of life that surrounds the presence of death.

We meet on the last Monday of each month at 6:30 pm CST. We currently alternate between online discussions via Zoom and in-person meetings in Austin, Texas. If you want to read books that confront mortality so that we may live more fully, please join us.
