Nextdoor Book Nook

We were strangers connected by the Nextdoor app but we found each other to celebrate our love of reading.  

We do tend to favour thrillers and mysteries but we also try other genres.  The books chosen are usually done by agreement based on someone giving a recommendation. Unless there is a new release we want to schedule in, we choose a month at a time.

Currently, we have begun meeting during the day during the week as most of us are available then.  We do not meet on weekends. 

Our meetings are a combination of in person (spring/summer/fall) and via Zoom (winter) but this is subject to change. We typically meet at coffee shops in Pickering or Ajax.

We talk about the current book but we also like to discuss others books we have read. All book talk welcome. 

We encourage everyone to participate by attending meetings (please RSVP) sending/responding to emails, and answering polls.
