About Stranger Than Fiction Book Club - Athens GA
Stranger Than Fiction Book Club is a community for readers who love exploring true stories that rival the wildest novels. Each month we feature two nonfiction selections, and members are free to pick and choose which one (or both!) they’d like to read. Our choices span history, true crime, science, survival, biography, and beyond—books that prove reality can be just as gripping, emotional, and mind-bending as fiction. Join us to discover new perspectives, share your thoughts, and connect with others who believe the truth is often stranger than fiction.
We meet at Akademia Brewing Company on the last Sunday of each month from 6:00–8:30pm for lively discussion, good drinks, and great company. Throughout the month, we also utilize Fable to share comments, reactions, and insights as we read—so even if you can’t make it in person, you can still join the conversation.
