Marietta, GA Book Club

We meet once a month (with the exception of November/December, which we combine). We do our best to really vary the kind of books that we read - but mostly contemporary fiction, with an occasional non-fiction thrown in. In the last year we have read: The Spectacular by Fiona Davis; The Measure: A Novel by Nikki Erlick; Disorientation by Elaine Hsieh Chou; The Cloisters by Katy Hayes; James by Percival Everett; The Change by Kristen Miller; Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir; Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett; The Fraud by Zadie Smith; and The Last House on Needless Street by Catriona Ward. We are a very relaxed bookclub - feel free to join us even if you DnF'd the book or just didn't get the time to finish (and don't mind spoilers). We decide the next book and meeting time at the end of each meeting.
