An sci-fi adventure that blends science, humor and a wholesome friendship. The eye-opening logic in the conversations between Grace and Rockyâhighlighting their similaritiesâis truly compelling. Yet, some challenges resolve too quickly undercutting the tension. Overall, it's a thought-provoking and engaging journey.
This is not my usual genre, but I think this is a great gateway book for someone who isnât into science fiction but enjoys a compelling story. Because the story is approached in a grounded way, my mind didnât have to take too many leaps for this interstellar fiction to be plausible. Told from the perspective of Dr Grace, a science teacher who wakes up hurtling through space millions of miles from earth, this science led story takes us into another galaxy that brings people and aliens together. The ending is terrific! I started out struggling to read this, but the audiobook narration made all the difference đ˝đ¸đ
