About Lit & Lattes Book Club
Hi Everyone!
Having just moved here from New England, I am looking for a few other self-proclaimed Booktroverts in the Bay Area interested in starting a new Book Club! Looking for women only, in their 20s-40s, who enjoy reading and are looking to build a community of bookish friends!
Aiming to read a variety of popular fiction titles - think "The Correspondent" or "Theo of Golden" - and open to different genres.
Hoping to meet monthly or every other month at different local coffee shops, because books and coffee just go together & it'll be a great way to check out new places! I would like to keep the meetings in and around the San Carlos, CA area but don't mind driving to surrounding towns. I am thinking Sat or Sun morning meetings, but absolutely flexible to the needs of the group!
*A little about me*
📚My book personality: I can totally obsess over a romance beach read but also enjoy a historical fiction or mystery.
✍️Fave author: Jodi Picoult
📖Current read: Powerless Trilogy (although fantasy is not my usual 😂)
☕️Go-to coffee order: caramel macchiato - hot or iced depending on my mood
💕Other things I enjoy: outdoor adventures, baking all kinds of treats, needlepoint, traveling
I am really looking for a club with the same small group of people each month, so we can all get to know eachother. While things absolutely come up, I would love to have a group that is generally committed to reading the books & showing up consistently 😊
