About Fox Library Book Group
We're an all-ages adult book group who meet monthly, usually the second Wednesday of the month from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at the Fox Branch Library at 175 Mass Ave. in East Arlington.
We read a variety of contemporary titles, everything from literary fiction to graphic novels. We welcome all adults who are interested in casual conversation and meeting other local, like-minded individuals. No registration is needed to join; just pick up the book at the Fox (or the Robbins Library, the main library at 700 Mass Ave.) and stop by!
Our general guidelines:
- This is a book group – we can have fun!
- If you didn’t finish the book, that’s ok!
- Please listen to everybody’s comments.
- Be respectful, especially when listening to or offering a different opinion.
- Everyone will get a chance to speak.
- Not everyone will like all the book choices and that’s ok!
- Stay on topic.
- Allow others to share their input by not monopolizing the conversation.
- Refrain from making comments that are overtly judgmental of any one group based on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, gender, etc.
- Inappropriate behavior and/or language will not be tolerated.
