Dublin6W Book Club

Based in Dublin, Ireland, we're a group of readers who meet monthly in Dublin 6W (Terenure) to discuss the book(s) we've been reading.

We read a diverse range of fiction, from international translations to works of Dublin-based authors.

I try to choose books that will ignite interesting discussions.

My final criterion for book selection is to actively support living authors and their continuous literary contributions, even if it only through the modest royalties they earn when I/we borrow their books from the library.

There is normally just one large group discussion and expect spoilers if you haven't finished the book in time!

Polite request: if you wish to attend please RSVP so I have an idea of the expected headcount. If you can no longer attend please amend your RSVP. Persistent no-showers will be removed from the group.

We also attend literary events from time to time. If you wish to attend our events, we'd encourage you to attend one of our Terenure book discussions first.
