📚 All Readers Welcome 📚
Instead of everyone reading the same book, each person chooses something they are genuinely interested in. During our meetups, members share the main ideas, lessons, and moments that stood out from their book. This can be as simple as talking about it with the group, but if you enjoy making slides or giving a short presentation, you’re more than welcome to!
That way, everyone gets to keep up with their own reading while also learning from what everyone else is exploring. You might come to talk about one book and leave with a few new ideas, different perspectives, and a longer list of books you want to read next!
All genres are welcome, with a little extra love for nonfiction, psychology, and philosophy. And yes, audiobooks totally count! There’s no pressure to finish your book or prepare anything, sharing can be as casual or as in-depth as you’d like. It’s a space for relaxed but intellectual conversations, different perspectives, and the ideas that naturally grow out of what we’re reading.
Meeting times will be decided by poll, but the goal is to have virtual meetups once or twice a month, keep things flexible, and hopefully add monthly in-person meetups in Atlanta as the group grows
