Between the Tropes

Here's how it works!

1. Meets monthly in a Raleigh-Durham coffee shop/restaurant or brewery at 7pm. (unless someone wants to host)
2. Each participant has a chance to pitch a book for the next month and the group will vote, therefore picking the next book. Must be in the romance genre or have a romance theme!
3. Anyone can join! Invite your romance loving friends.

Intention does not equal impact, we are bound to have differing opinions and lived experiences. Please come with an open spirit of conversation and kindness. Bullying of any kind is not allowed and degrading comments about race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, culture or identity will not be tolerated.

This bookclub is absolutely free to be a member of and you will always be able to attend a general book club meeting! Contributing monetarily is completely voluntary and gives members the option to contribute at a level they are comfortable with. I was able to create four different options, as seen below.

Tier 1: free

Tier 2: $3 a month

Tier 3: $5 a month

Tier 4: $7 a month

Are there any perks? Insider information on author visits, first round sign-ups for any future socials or retreats and participation in selecting those social opportunities and retreat locations.

*IMPORTANT: current members will be grandfathered in and will not charged a membership fee. If any current members want to switch to a paid membership tier, you will simply need to remove yourself from the club and then rejoin to select a tier via the Stripe platform. This is the only way bookclubs can do it at this time, I’m sorry for the hassle of this process.
