About Anti Social Book Club

The Anti Social Book Club is a book club and social club rolled into one—a space for those in NYC who love classic literature but also want to build meaningful connections along the way.

Each month, we meet twice: first for a casual social outing on the second Saturday, and then two weeks later during the week for a laid-back book discussion. Whether you’re here for the books, the people, or both, this club is about creating a welcoming, no-pressure environment where we hope great conversations and long term connections can happen.

Norms & Expectations:

1. Be present & engaged.

2. Respect different perspectives.

3. No pressure to be a literary scholar, but please do read the book with intentionality.

4. Socials are for connection, not cliques.

5. Listen as much as you speak, share space.

6. Keep the vibe fun and low-pressure.

7. Suggest books, events, and places.

8. Be inclusive and accepting—everyone should feel welcome and we will not accept otherwise.

9. If you enjoy it, invite a friend!
