Amiable Ladies Literary Society

The Amiable Ladies Literary Society meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Members are encouraged to arrive in Regency-style attire and partake in a selection of teas and light refreshments. Our focus is on classic literature, and we provide a yearly reading list. Members are expected to read the assigned texts and participate in discussions, where differing opinions are welcomed to enrich our dialogue.

Additionally, should an adaptation of the selected book be available, we will plan a movie day later in the month. During this gathering, members dress in casual/comfy attire and enjoy a simple dinner and snacks while viewing the film together.

Our book club is a private gathering with a limited membership to ensure that discussions remain manageable while maintaining an elegant atmosphere. To explore the possibility of joining, we invite you to meet us at a local tea room. This will provide an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine if you would be a good fit for our literary society.
