Jackson and Delilah's story is a classic "opposites attract" situation. Do you generally enjoy romances with this trope? Do you think Borison handles it well?
The book also leans on the "forced proximity" and "only one bed" tropes, as Jackson and Delilah end up sharing a hotel room. Did you enjoy the tension this created?
How did the remote, snowed-in location set the stage for the start of Jackson and Delilah's romance?
What did you think of the chemistry between Jackson and Delilah? Were you rooting for them as a couple?
Delilah is definitely the sunshine in this grumpy/sunshine pairing — funny and whimsical. Did her character ever feel over the top, or do you think the author balanced her lightheartedness with strength and heart?
Jackson took over custody of his sisters when he was just 20 years old, and was acting in a parental role even before that. How does the sense of responsibility he feels for his family impact other areas of his life, including his career and his romantic relationships?
Delilah, Jackson, and Jackson's sisters all deal with being abandoned by their mother. How do the different characters cope with this abandonment, and how do their approaches contrast?
Why do you think Keith was so intent on sabotaging Delilah? Have you ever had to deal with a toxic boss like Keith?
Did you enjoy the between-chapter clips from the main characters' broadcasts? What did they add to the story?
Do you watch the local news or listen to local radio? What are your favorite segments? Do you have a favorite TV or radio personality?
Would you enjoy learning about corn sweat from Jackson, or is that too much detail about the weather?
This romance is inspired by the classic romcom When Harry Met Sally. Have you seen it? If so, what points of inspiration did you notice in the book?
Did you read the first book in this series, First Time Caller, featuring Aiden and Lucie? If so, how did the two books compare? It's strongly hinted that the next book will be Maggie and Cooper's story — will you pick it up?
Who were your favorite side characters?
