The stars have cursed us.
After the devastating events at Zodiac Academy, we have to deal with this darker world we're faced with.
Lionel seeks to hurt us, the Nymphs seek to hurt the entire Fae race, and between all of it, we just have to try and survive each day as it comes.
I'm afraid of everything falling apart, but it looks like it already has.

Argh, I got tired hearing Tory keep saying "It's too late" and "It doesn't matter anymore".
I do appreciate that this book has made me feel things though.... I was so annoyed at Tory... sad for Darius.... conflicted about Seth.... and embarrassed for Max honestly.
No sympathy for Darcy lol I think her and Orion got what they deserved.

There hasn't been much forward momentum.
Tory is finally seeing the light where Darius is concerned, but it's too little too late. They're cursed.
Orion is an idiot and has fallen on his sword for Darcy.
Everybody is just trying to finish up the year at Zodiac and head into summer.
Lionel is the big winner here, and he basically wants to kill or capture all who oppose him and, quite frankly, is doing a bang-up job of it.
A ray of light is Xavier's Pegasus form is revealed publicly, and Lionel has to let him live a normal life.
The book ends on an extremely depressing cliffhanger, have book 6 ready.

Darcy and Orion- I knew deep in my heart that Darcy and Orion had it way too easy. I was waiting for the ball to drop and it did. I am not a huge fan of Orion’s storyline rn, but I’m hoping this sets him up with allies and I hope he finds a new path soon.
Tory and Darius- Damn, son. This actually hurts. I blame Darius like 85%.
