This series is absolutely insane, and I am shook beyond repair! Iâm so relieved that my girls passed the Reckoning and finally unlocked their Ordersâtheyâre freaking Phoenixes! Watching them step into their power was everything, and I love that theyâre finally realizing just how strong they truly are. But of course, nothing can ever be easy at Zodiac Academy.
Can we talk about Dariusâs father and Orionâs mother for a second? Because what the actual hell?! They are both beyond psychotic, and I feel so bad for Xavierâhe does not deserve to be treated like that. And ughhh, the Heirs? Still absolute assholesâ¦but maybe just slightly less? There were actual moments where I almostâalmostâfelt bad for them. But Iâm still not fully there yet.
And then thereâs Seth. That drunken confession to Darcy?? It almost had me feeling something, but letâs be realâI am 100% Team Darcy & Orion, and Seth never stood a chance. Sorry, not sorry.
But the real betrayal?? WTF, Diego?! I did not see that coming, and I am livid. What a pathetic excuse for a man. I trusted him, I liked him, and he went and pulled that?! He is dead to me. I will never forgive him. Ever.
That ending completely wrecked me, and I need the next book immediately.

Oh mein Gott Girls! Ich bin into it!! Außerdem hab ich so viel gelacht in dem Buch, magischer Unterricht unter Teenagern ist zum schießen 😂
This has got to be my fav book in the series so far. Everything in this book, from the characters, the mystery, suspense, the character's POV chapters, and all the teasing, just grips you and makes you want more. The character development so far makes you love them, hate them, feel sorry for them, and root for them.
The Heirs in book one of this series made you downright hate them, without question, by the time you get to this book you have a love/hate relationship with them, and you are caught in the middle of a love game. Darius and Caleb are def my fav Heirs.
Darcy and Orion have the best "secret" relationship ever and their taunting, teasing, possessiveness, and spice just draw you in all the way. Prob my fave fantasy book couple and every time they interacted had me smiling and giggling at their banter.
Tory/Caleb/Darius has the best chemistry, I love the relationship that Tory and Caleb have together, but the slow burn simmer of the want/need between Tory and Darius just kills me. The banter and comebacks between Caleb and Darius over Tory are great and really makes you think who is best for who or the suspense of who will wind up with who and just keep you reading page after page.
Orion and Darius have the best friendship or I should say bromance ever. Enough said.
This is one series that has grabbed me from page one of book one and I just cant devour the books fast enough.
