This is an uber-short story to fill in the gaps between when Lev leaves CyFi and when he shows up at the Arizona Graveyard in Unwind. It's well-written, in Neal Shusterman's typical style, and is very, very short. (Literally, the story ended at 50% on my Kindle, and the remaining 50% were preview pages for Unwind and Unwholly.)

This is a moving tale that connections the dots between Lev's journey and informs what I had assumed to be Lev's need for yet another thing to believe in. It demonstrates why Lev is angry, and also shows the reader further injustices that come about as a result of the Unwind Accord. It's interesting because it adds another layer to Shusterman's world, one that shows just how deeply and richly Shusterman has defined this world. He's woven the world so tightly, it's just really imaginative and I can't help but be a little in awe of it all.

Of course, I hope we meet Wil again, as I really enjoyed meeting him in this story. Even if it kind of broke my heart.

I don't know that it's necessary to read this story before moving onto Unwholly but it's so short that you might as well.
