Unbroken Bonds (The Bonds that Tie)

The gods live among us.

I thought that the death of the man who tortured me, broke me, and then hunted me to the ends of the Earth would be the end of our fight; but it's only the beginning.

After thousands of years of being apart, our god bonds are reunited once again; and they're not ready to go down without a fight.

They've woken up hungry.

All of the research in the world couldn't have prepared us for what's to come, enemies and wars fought over millennia. Now we're being forced to act, but this time, we have the advantage.

This time, we're Bonded.

Are we strong enough to survive the gods and their plans? Will we ever live in the peaceful world we've fought so hard for, or is history doomed to repeat itself?

*Unbroken Bonds is a full-length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book is the final installment and will not end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Book 6 in the 6 book series.

For the last book in the series, this one is slow. It has good moments, but I thought there would be more in the last book. A bigger bang to end it. Still a good series though.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed by this book. Considering how much I enjoyed the previous books.

Condensing the series to 3 or 4 books would have been more fitting than stretching it to 6 books.

The female main character (FMC) dedicates excessive time to introspection, repeatedly revisiting the same concerns. It gets very tiresome to read. Additionally, the character development displays inconsistency as they waver in their decisions. Hence, the series had ample room to be condensed into 3-4 books; numerous chapters and the constant back-and-forth seemed more like filler content.

Regarding the overarching plot and character dynamics , I like this series! The distinct portrayal of each male character is impressive, each maintaining unique relationships and needs with the FMC. I commend the author for skillfully preserving these dynamics consistently throughout the entire series.

The series was really good. I enjoyed how complex the magic system was and every plot twist that came along with it. Each character was unique and go along well. There were some funny moments and some sad ones too. The epilogue was really nice as well. I’d rate then entire series 4 stars.
