Tragic Bonds (The Bonds that Tie)

Nothing will ever be the same again.
Our Bonded Group has been torn apart, and the monsters are now the prey.
But we're not going to just wait around for our enemy to strike; the blood on his hands is unforgivable, and the god living inside of me wants her revenge paid in blood.
And a thousand souls.
We have been pushed to the limit, tested in ways that have devastating outcomes, and paid the ultimate price. Can we recover from such losses? Is the promise of a world without our enemy worth the sacrifices we've made?
Can we prove to everyone, and ourselves, that together our bonds are unbroken?

The female main character (FMC) dedicates excessive time to introspection, repeatedly revisiting the same concerns. It gets very tiresome to read. Additionally, the character development displays inconsistency as they waver in their decisions. Hence, the series had ample room to be condensed into 3-4 books; numerous chapters and the constant back-and-forth seemed more like filler content.
The author's handling of Nox's trauma in this series was deeply disappointing. Let me be clear, I don't object to characters bearing traumas and coping diversely. However, it's frustrating that Nox's struggles persisted for a significant portion of the series, and then the author rushed through the resolution of these issues. This approach doesn't sit well with me.
Regarding the overarching plot and character dynamics , I like this series! The distinct portrayal of each male character is impressive, each maintaining unique relationships and needs with the FMC. I commend the author for skillfully preserving these dynamics consistently throughout the entire series.
