Bearded, bad-boy barber Knox prefers to live his life the way he takes his coffee: Alone. Unless you count his basset hound, Waylon. Knox doesnât tolerate drama, even when it comes in the form of a stranded runaway bride.
This book is such a nice read! It's the first time I've read one of Lucy Score's books, and this book is just so good. I like the main characters here, which are Knox and Naomi, because they are giving me butterflies in my stomach. Knox is grumpy, while Naomi has nice and beautiful characteristics, which is why this book is giving me a grumpy and sunny vibe. I love the plot twist of this book, and the writing is so good.Â

This book keeps me going to read, and I can't put down the vibe. It's a fast-paced book, and like Beach Read, it also has a few long chapters, but it's good. It's also a rom-com type of book, and it's similar to a beach read, but this book is set in a small town, which is why I love it. I also like the cover of the book, which is so pretty because I love the color blue and it has pretty flowers on the cover. I've heard about this book everywhere, especially in book clubs, social media, and book vlogs, and I've wanted to try this one, and it's worth the shot. This book is perfect for readers who are Lucy Score's fans, beach reads, small towns, Grumpy & Sunshine vibes, or Rom-Com.

This book had me constantly wanting to keep reading and finding it hard to put down. There was a new twist on each chapter and I enjoyed hearing the perspectives from both of the main characters, Knox and Naomi. When I had finished the book I was thrilled to see that there was another in the series to read!
Okay I caved and read it, I was nervous after everyone raving about it so much and honestly thought Iâd be disappointed. I wasnât. Itâs perfect, this story brought tears to my eyes, it made me laugh out loud, and it made me smile. Watching a character develop and get over trauma, and grow is just beautiful and this book portrays it in the most profound way possible. I was gripped with the story from the start and it had twists n turns that kept me on the edge the whole time - I canât wait to read Nashâs story and even more I canât wait for Lucyâs story to come out, Sloane has a special place in my heart for being such an absolute gem
Another book club book that I didn't get to read before we met - and I missed that meeting, so I have no idea what everyone else thought about it... but, I digress...
There seems to be a lot of hype over this one. Everyone's reading it or wants to read it. It was almost impossible to find at the library - the wait was months - in fact, the first version I downloaded on my kindle from the library was in German. Kindle Unlimited to the rescue, so I guess I did pay for this one, though I'm not upset I don't get to keep it and reread it years from now.
It was okay. Ish. Heavy emphasis on the "ish". Took me much longer to get through than most other books I've picked up recently - maybe partly because it's not my normal go-to genre ... but I think more because it just dragged. The characters all seemed awfully immature for their stated ages and the ending was just too "wrap-it-up-in-a-pretty-bow" perfect when you take into account the dumpster fire that these characters' lives were throughout the rest of the book. I'm not upset I read it - but I probably won't seek this author out again.

Book one of the series. Knox … Knox Knox Knox. What a MMC. That really all I can say… this one really roped me into the series.
