I really enjoyed this book. I liked it even more than The Bridge Kingdom. I have picked up the rest in the series, and am excited to see how the world progresses.
Definitely worth a read, especially if you liked The Bridge Kingdom or any of Danielle L. Jensen's books.
Spice: 🌶️
I loved this book even more than the first!
I was much more invested in Lara and Aren’s story and loved all of the new characters that were introduced and the ones who returned.
I can see where some of the sequel duologies are going to focus for their plots, so I am excited to continue reading this series!

I only gave this 7 stars because I felt this book was predictable.
Banish the queen (hence traitor queen), go through some hard stuff, and then she saves the day and the king takes her back!
The live happilv ever after! The action scenes saved this book!
They were filled with great combat! Overall, I give 7 stars!
