This is my favorite so far!
It has ALL the elements I look for in OVER THE TOP, DRAMATIC AF, SUPER ANGSTY, SUPER STEAMY, romance.
I am seeing these books are just like the telenovelas I grew up watching and I am NOT MAD about that.
It is interesting because usually I would not be okay with a lot of the plot in this series, but the author presents the over the top, just as it should be.
I don't think it's fair to compare this to book 1 either. Each sibling is so different, with their own character and ways of thinking.
But I just adored the way this story flowed and how it developed. I love that the FMC is Latina, her representation was done very well. I am hoping the author seeked sensitivy readers for it, but nonetheless it feels very very well done.
There is a little bit of heartbreak that is not just in the (whatever act) break up, there is loss of family as well, with a very realistic approach to mourning. I cried a bit. I felt very seen.
Also THE LOVE DECLARATIONS IN THIS DANG BOOK! Even the ones the FMC had for the MMC. Just wow.
