The content of this book was tough to listen to. It took me 2 months to finish the first 50% and then just a few days for the last 50% (when the plot is finally uncovered). First and foremost, the narrator for Sin was absolutely awful. I almost DNF in the first 5 mins just because of that. Second, within minutes of listening the MMC talks about and then r@pe$ the FMC while she is drugged and drunk and unconscious. Third, this entire story is just poor Elli getting drugged, getting SA’d and then finding out she was SA’d by more people than she could have imagined. Fourth, the MMC is very much touch her and die but his redeeming qualities end right there. This story was super spicy when the FMC gave consent, but super r@p€y and explicit when it wasn’t.

This one was not quite as good as the first book in the series, but I still really enjoyed it overall for a good DR. Not going to say much more here cause I don't want to give anything away and these are all standalones technically though they are interwoven through the same world with many overlapping characters. Must like smut to read these I would say, but there was a plot too. I can't read something without plot at all.

Summary: In this book, we follow Easton Bradley Sinnett—better known as Sin—as he pursues the love of his life. Both were raised in the LORD's world, but while one was being groomed for a sexual purpose, the other was trained to kill. As their paths unfold, we discover that even family can't always be trusted, and the only ones who can be are the Devil and his Little Demon. Review: This book takes a different approach compared to The Ritual (L.O.R.D.S #1), with a stronger focus on Elli's struggles and Sin's determination to make things right. It’s an intense rollercoaster ride, following Sin as he unleashes chaos to bring down those who dared to take what was never theirs. The end was flawlessly wrapped up, like a perfect gift. I loved the twists that kept the story moving and especially enjoyed Epilogue Two! Can I just keep Tyson forever, please? The book isn’t even about him, but I’d take him any day! And as for my room with my trash pandas—goodbye, Momma Asher and Papa Sinnett! Overall, I’d definitely recommend the series. The stories do overlap to some extent, allowing glimpses into each character’s journey within a single storyline. However, this doesn’t take away from the plot—instead, it only enhances it.
