Carnage

Sooooooo this was a doozy. Ashton is a freaking G! Ash truly kept them all on their toes and wasn't going down without a fight. The thought of her and what she went through was so disturbing but hey, this is dark romance after all. Saint (what a name for someone who definitely isn't one) was infatuated with her from DAY 1 and made sure that she will be his. But the twist towards the end with Haiden! WHAT?! This story has a lot of layers and we were introduced to Ash in the previous books so reading her story was AMAZING. She's a superhero in my eyes. Talk about someone living their life on their terms and not giving up.

Honestly this one was great! I was really looking forward to reading about the Spade brothers and this did not disappoint! It wrapped up a lot of loose ends from prior books, and explained a lot of twists from several plot lines. Makes me worried about the next book since what more could there be after this?? But I’m remaining optimistic since I has been looking forward to Haidyn’s story. Again, this was filled with smut, and you must be ok with the trigger warnings, but there is plenty of plot to keep you invested! (I saw lots of complaints about the second half of this book, which makes me think anyone complaining the second half was confusing wasn’t really reading and understanding the PLOT of the series thus far. The entire second half exposes all of those twists and ties things up nicely. I’m pleasantly surprised by how well a lot of it went together knowing the people involved.)
