A gentle little read, reminding us that love still exists out there. Better to read than to listen to.

This was a sleeper, and not in the BAM it explodes in some exciting twist at the end, this is more of the puts you to sleep kinda sleeper. About 100 pages too long...omg.

Delightful story of lovers destined for one another, yet who haven't met. Laurent owns a bookstore called the Red Notebook, and Laura carries a red notebook in her purse. She is mugged and ends up in a coma. Her purse is left on the street by his shop. He finds it and seeks to return it. And so it begins, this almost creepy, but not quite, search for the owner. All the ID is gone, so he has little to go on. Written almost in a stream of consciousness manner, the story introduces all manner of obstacles, and new characters while remaining focused on the search.
