The President's Hat

This was such an engaging book! I enjoyed previous Laurain books and this one did not disappoint either. Laurain's first character ends up (or steals!) a hat from the President of France. Having this hat endows the person with a power to change their life. The hat, a character in its own right, doesn't stay long with one master, but traipses around France. The adventures of the hat and those that wear it are interesting. The writing is light and keeps our interest. A thoroughly light, enjoyable book.
