HE LOVES YOU: Adam adores Emily. Emily thinks Adam’s perfect, the man she thought she’d never meet.
BUT SHE LOVES YOU NOT: Lurking in the shadows is a rival, a woman who shares a deep bond with the man she loves.
AND SHE'LL STOP AT NOTHING: Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose his mother Pammie. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.
The Other Woman will have you questioning her on every page, in Sandie Jones' chilling psychological suspense about a man, his new girlfriend, and the mother who will not let him go.

More like a 3.5, characters fell flat through parts but the twist wasn't a big surprise
So good!!! This book had me feeling all the emotions! Angry, sad, and even happy. I loved the twist at the end!
So good!!!
This was a rollercoaster ride of a book! Have you ever read a book where you just couldn't stand any of the characters? I thought about setting this book aside more than once because I was just so, so frustrated with all of the characters and their poor decision-making. But now that I’ve been thinking about the book a little more, Sandie Jones really did a great job of creating a set of characters that, as frustrating as they were, really made me want to keep reading to find out what they were going to do next. Although the book was a little slow to pick up, I’m so glad that I stuck with this one. The twist at the end alone made it worth the read. It had a very slow-build up, but after that shock of an ending, I feel like I need to do a reread ASAP
What a ride and believe me, I wanted to get off. As you can see with the vote of only 2 stars, I only finished the book because... well, to be honest, I skipped to the ending and I wanted to see how Emily gets from Point A to the finish line of Point Z. There were so many red flags and she kept on persevering like the dutiful girlfriend she is. Too many times, I kept thinking, RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!
If you catch your soon-to-be mother-in-law in an act, you have a cell phone, take a photo, and hit send. If she is lying about you, and your boyfriend gets affronted with you sticking up for yourself, that's a red flag! Most importantly, if you constantly fear your boyfriend is about to strike you, there's something wrong. Sex is not the only reason why you should stay in that relationship and think, "you are each other's soulmate."
The ending which was the two last chapters was when things really moved at a fast and furious pace. Quite possibly to put us all out of our misery. Do yourself a favor and skip it.
One more thing, you have to question the title, "The Other Woman." The question is, who exactly is the other woman? That's the golden question.
