The book is better. If you like hunger games you will like this one. It’s got you wondering from the beginning what’s in the maze why are these kids trying to get out.
I'll be honest, this book is misogynistic, overhyped, and flawed but it is also enjoyable and I had a lot of fun reading it. These dystopian/sci-fi series often have a really interesting hook but no interesting follow up which leaves the story feeling bland and uninspired. If you like this book, good for you! If no, that's fine too. This is just my opinion after all and you don't have to listen to me.
