I hated all the characters in this book. Even the main character was an annoying buttinski know-it-all. The daughter, the sister, the kid, everyone. Awful. Dumb predictable story too. It's only saving grave was the description of the camp. It made me want to be there!!

The Last One at The Wedding is mystery thriller with a lighthearted tone and fast paced writing. I enjoyed the story but there were many moments where I was frustrated with the main character and the twist wasn’t very compelling. The book’s pacing was also a little strange but I felt it worked for me because it kept things surprising. Was I blown away or unable to put this one down? No. I’d say it’s worth a try, some might like it more than I did.

I will say this is my start back into reading. With the book I caught myself a few times a day wanting to continue to read the book. Even the ending does kind of leave a hole with room for a sequel.

It was a slow read, then it got exciting for a couple chapter and then it was a very predictable ending. Main character did get annoying/whiny to me. I feel like this book could have great but it was just okay.

"The Last One At The Wedding." Overall, I found the experience to be a mix of enjoyment and frustration. While there were moments that I appreciated, the pacing felt drawn out at times, which made it hard to stay fully engaged. The characters elicited a strong reaction from me; there were a few I truly disliked, but I think that’s a testament to the author's skill in bringing them to life. It was a bit twisty and had some shocking moments, yet I couldn’t shake the feeling of annoyance with the characters' actions throughout the story. That said, there were traces of cleverness woven into the narrative, and I particularly liked the prologue. While it had its shortcomings, the author’s ability to create complex individuals made for an interesting read overall.
