I loved and devoured this book. The twists and turns it had, and the pictures gave me the creeps. I love books where the ending shocks you! Definitely a must read for thriller/horror book fans.

This had such potential, especially with the creepy drawings, but the second half just falls flat. The author decides to rely on cliches and tropes instead of staying unique. It gets so predictable it hurts. None of the twists are shocking, and I figured most of them out before they were revealed. The whole "tells the truth and no one believes and loses job/friends/life here" is so overdone, I nearly quit this book when it happened here. No idea why so many big name authors gave it such high praise.
